Part 1:
1) The lid on the water container works as a lever which can open to
pour out the water, or close to prevent insects/dust to enter.
2) The door is a lever which lets us open and close it with ease.
3) The drawer has linkages to let it open easily and smoothly.

Part 2:
The door cannot be opened easily as hands cannot hold on to the door
and pull it as it is squeezed between the walls. I used a lever
mechanism to improve the situation. When you press the top end of the
mechanism, the bottom will pop out and lets us pull it instead of the
door itself, making the opening of the door much easier.
