Most of the elderly have a hard time getting out of bed when the bed is low. Therefore, I have designed a sliding handrail that can enable the elderly to hold on to support himself/herself while he/she gets out of bed. There will be a button on the handrail, and when it is pressed, the handrail will be unlocked. The tension of the stretched spring will pull the elderly up as it slides to the left and return to its original state.
