Task 1
Picture 1: A clip - First Class Lever
Press the two ends of the clip together so that the load may be held in place.
Picture 2: A correction tape - As you slide the tip of the correction tape along a surface, the gears inside will move accordingly, allowing correction tape to move out.
Picture 3: A thumb-drive - Second Class Lever
The cover of the thumb-drive is a lever. You apply effort on the movable side of the cover.
Task 2
The windows cannot be open with ease, this is as the sliding space given for the slider is not enough. In this new design, we use gears instead of sliding. Now, the gears will give a rather smooth slide to close the windows.
