Ok, so the first picture shows an open kitchen door. The problem is? When the wind blows, since it does not have any support, the door always slams violently, damaging the door, the hinge and the wall itself. The second picture shows you how the hinge works. And in the third picture, my idea is to add on a latch, so that when the door is opened and the latch is secured, the door will not suddenly slam closed violently.
