First Picture: This picture is of my Macbook tilted at an angle. The mechanism used is a class two lever when you are to close your Macbook, whereby the top of the screen's half of the Macbook is the effort, the bottom of the screen's half of the Macbook is the fulcrum. The load is the screen itself and this mechanism is used effectively as the load is close to the fulcrum than the effort, so less effort would be used to move the load.
Second Picture: This picture is of my home's ironing board, the mechanism used are linkages when you are to keep or open the ironing board. Here, the legs of the ironing board are a set of linkages connected to the board in an 'X' shape, where the middle of the 'X' is the pivot. Here, effort has to be applied onto the board downwards if keeping the board, then, the lower half of the legs would spread out, closing the 'X' shape. This is used effectively as if the ironing board used a table-like structure to hold it up, even if it is foldable, it would take more time to keep the board as one has to fold the legs slowly, either one by one or two by two, making it more tedious than to use the linkages.
Third picture: This picture is of my stapler. The mechanism used is a class two lever when you are to staple something. Here, the white portions of the stapler are where the efforts are supposed to be applied on, the fulcrum is the metal joint of the stapler and the load is the staples in the stapler. This mechanism is used effectively as the load is closer to the fulcrum than the effort is, allowing less effort to be needed to move the load.
