1st image: This mechanism consists of levers and linkages. When the handle is pulled upwards in a linear motion, the linkages will cause the grip on the mechanism that is attached to the railing of the lid of the container to loosen. The hinge that is on the opposite side of the hinge facilitates easy movement when the grip is loosened in order for the lid to be lifted up to gain access to what is in the jar.
2nd image: This mechanisms consists of gears and linkages. When the door knob is turned in an anti-clockwise rotary motion, the mechanism within the door itself which includes possibly gears and other hinges, it will cause to extension to stick out, this can be used in the clockwise motion as well to with draw the extension.
3rd image: This mechanism consists of mainly levers. The fulcrum is at the top of the two things.The effort is applied on 2 sides of the handle which is where there will be a slot for the melon seed which is the load to be slotted in, when the effort is applied the melon seed will crack.
